1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Useless Ads, you acknowledge that this is a satirical service and agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

Useless Ads is a satirical parody directory. Ads posted do absolutely nothing. This is intentional. Paid ads may display cosmetic rarity badges (Common, Rare, Super Rare, Epic, Mythic, Legendary, Ultra) based on how long the ad has been active. Rarity confers no rights, status, rewards, or extra placement.

3. Payments

Payments are processed via Stripe. Subscriptions recur weekly at $0.99/week until cancelled. Cancel the weekly ad anytime from the Manage page after signing in with a magic link to the email you used at checkout. Add-ons are charged once at setup. Roadmap votes cost $0.60 per vote (one-time). Submitting a roadmap idea costs $2.99 (one-time, includes one upvote). Votes and ideas cannot be cancelled or refunded.

4. Roadmap Voting

You can vote on roadmap features for $0.60 per vote, or submit a new idea for $2.99 (includes one upvote). A submitted idea automatically moves from Ideas to Validated if its net vote score reaches +10. Payments are non-refundable and do not guarantee feature implementation. Submitting or voting is purely for governance and influence (or lack thereof). After checkout, you can sign in to Manage with that email to see a read-only list of your votes and submitted ideas. We may remove inappropriate ideas.

5. Refunds

No refunds. You're paying for nothing, so there's nothing to refund.

6. Content

You retain ownership of your ad content. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content.

7. Limitation of Liability

Since the service does nothing, our liability is also nothing. We are not responsible for any outcomes (or lack thereof).

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect: ad content (title, description, logo), payment information (via Stripe), the checkout email used for ads, votes, and idea submissions (so Manage can show your activity), usage statistics (views, clicks), roadmap idea submissions (title, description, tags), and roadmap vote data (idea ID, vote type, payment information).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your ad content is displayed publicly on the directory. Paid roadmap ideas are displayed publicly on the Roadmap page. The checkout email on votes and ideas is not shown publicly; it is used to show you a private activity list on Manage. Payment information is processed by Stripe. Vote and idea data is used to calculate implementation values and influence roadmap priorities. We do not sell your data.

3. Data Storage

Data is stored in Supabase (database) and Supabase Storage (logos). Stripe handles payment data.

4. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your ad data by contacting us. Payment data is managed through Stripe.
